Soccer Saturday

Another Saturday, another round of soccer games for the boys. Tanner's team won 7 - 3. Tanner scored 4 goals yesterday. It is so fun to watch him run up & down the field. He is fast & aggressive & loves the game. He got to play goalie during the 2nd half & that made him a happy boy. I'll be honest, it makes me nervous... he does well & can hold his own. Carter's team won 2-0. The team he played yesterday had won the week before with a score of 9-0. John's game plan for the team was DEFENSE. It worked. The boys worked so hard. They kept the other team from scoring. Carter didn't feel well yesterday, but he still played his little heart out & even scored a goal. We are enjoying the soccer season so far. I'll leave you with some pictures of tanner (#14).

4 months

Brody is 4 months old today! He is doing so well & is still our happy, content baby.
He saw his Dr. today & everything looks good. He is in the 95 Th percentile for his height & weight.

At 4 months:
- he weighs 18 lbs. 9 ozs. (we are raising a future line backer)
- he is 26 inches long.
- he wears 6-12 months clothes
- he still wears a size two diaper(not for long)
- he can roll from back to tummy when he wants to.
- he sleeps thru the night (8:30 pm - 7 am)
- he is drinking 6 oz. @ each feeding
- he is happy & giggles all the time
- he reminds us of John's Mom, we catch little glimpses of her in his expressions daily
- he is ticklish, love the belly laughs we get!
- he likes sitting in his Bumbo seat (thanks Camie).
- he enjoys our walks in the morning, loves to look at the leaves blowing in the wind
- he is holding onto his toys & swatting at toys on his play gym
- he had his 4 month check & is healthy, got two shots today
- he loves his brothers & loves when they pay attention to him

We are looking forward to this next month & the growth he'll continue to make.
We love this boy & the sweet spirit he adds to our home!

2. John stayed home from work today, still not feeling 100% better.
3. My new clear acrylic Font Works stamps, so cute & fun!
4. Minimal laundry to do today
5. a hot shower
6. A little jaunt up the Freeway to pick up birth certificates for the younger boys. Auburn is so pretty.
7. I am organizing my scrapbook room & love when it is clean.
8. The windows are open & we are enjoying some fresh air.
9. Garrett is FINALLY taking a nap.
10. Looking thru old photos while organizing my sb room. I love to look @ pictures. I would get more done if I didn't look @ them every time I decided to clean & purge :).

Okay so I have 11 things I am enjoying today!

11. The pedicure I enjoyed this morning. I was the only one getting a pedicure so the lady spent an hour a half on my feet...HEAVEN!

I hope you are enjoying your day & finding the little things that make you happy!

First games of the season

Tanner & Carter love soccer! They live & breath it! They both enjoyed their first games this past Saturday! Both of their teams won & they both had awesome games & great contributions from each of them. Tanner got to play goalie for the first time & Carter had a great time playing the forward position. My intention was to take pictures but Mr. Brody wanted to be held during both games. I wasn't able to snap very many photos. I love this one of John sitting with his players giving them a pep talk before the game started. This will be our lives for the next two months. They love it & we love it! Game on!

September Baby Class

This is one of the layouts for my September SWEET BEGINNINGS class @ Green Tangerines. We are using the new baby line from K& CO. this month. Many people in the store have asked if I dressed Baby Brody up girl clothes for these pictures -LOL! This is sweet H. She belongs to my friend Amy (thanks again for the pictures Amy). We create two layouts in this class & you can specify whether you want a boy or girl kit. So the idea is... if you come to the class each month, you will eventually have a baby album completed or well on its way. I am busy working on my October samples. There is a ton of new stuff @ Green Tangerines. We are getting new things daily. It makes creating fun & fresh! Hope you are all doing well. Leave a comment & let me know you are out there!

Labor Day

We decided @ 7pm Sunday night that we wanted to head down to my parents. We left our house @ 8 pm & got there right before 11 pm. Amber had been there earlier that night. She left Kai & Kannon there so all of our boys could have a sleep over. I don't think they went to bed till 1 am. They were having too much fun! On Monday we got to head over to Gram & Gramps Shores house for lunch & a visit. Then the rest of the day was spent playing in the pool & the sprinklers. We ended the day with a BBQ. It was fun to play with the cousins.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my nephew Malakai! He is 11 today. It just seems like yesterday that we were awaiting his arrival. We had all enjoyed a big Sunday dinner @ my parents house when Amber said her lower back was starting to hurt. My Mom knew what was going on & it didn't take long for Amber to realize that she was in labor! Malakai gave new meaning to the holiday Labor Day, he was born a Labor Day that year.
We hope he has a great day & that he enjoys his 11Th year of life. Happy Birthday Malakai, we love you!
