The Polar Express Ward Party

We enjoyed a very fun Polar Express Party with our ward(boundaries within our church, makes up the congregation))family. When we got there, there were train tracks leading from the front  door to the party area. The children were asked to come in the jammies and were to bring their ticket to get in. The train conductor(our Bishop) was at the door, collecting those tickets). The hall looked cute and festive. They served yummy quiche, fruit and muffins for breakfast. The story, The Polar Express was read. Our Bishop shared a message and there were beautiful musical numbers. At the end of the party, there was an appearance by the jolly man, himself :-).

C-R-A-Z-Y hair and sock day

I came home from the gym this morning(at o'dark thirty) to find the kitchen counter loaded with all of the different hair colors our family owns. These little guys were excited to wear crazy socks and add hair color to their hair. Garrett chose black and green hair color for his FC Steel soccer team. Brody wanted hints of red and green for Christmas. CRAZY and FUN!

Decking the halls...Buster style!

The boys woke up this morning to find that Buster had added his own touch to our holiday decorating. I don't think that Elf knows just how expensive toilet paper is :-)!

Kindergarten Winter Performance

Tonight was the night! Brody and his classmates have been practicing for this special performance/evening  for months. They learned the songs, the dance moves and movements to go with each song.

Brody knew all of the words and movements for each song. Unlike his Mama, he has no fear when it comes to performing. My Mom said I stared out one of the side doors during the entire performance and didn't sing a single word when my kindergarten class had our holiday performance(many years ago, back in the day). Brody sang his little heart out. It was adorable. All of those kindergartners looked so cute and sweet!

Brody and his buddy, Sam even had speaking parts! They introduced their class and the song their class would be performing. They nailed it! Way to go, boys!

They were the cutest Frosty the Snowmen I have ever seen!

Buster Antics

Buster strikes again! As each of the boys woke up this morning, I could hear them giggling. This is where they found Buster this morning! I am not sure where that Elf found the Expo markers??? Rest assured, all of the markers have been tossed so this doesn't happen EVER again!

December Family Home Evening Tradition

This was our 2nd Annual F.H.E spent  looking at the Christmas lights, with friends. We all met up and walked our favorite neighborhood(for lots of Christmas lights) in Rocklin. We had lots of kids with us in tow this year. They loved it and were a little too excited at times, running too far ahead and some of them even joined other families that were not part of our group.

After walking the neighborhood and taking lots of photos, we met back at our cars and enjoyed lots of yummy treats! Sorry, no photos. The treats were devoured in seconds!
