flag football semi playoffs

The boys 7th grade team had an amazing flag football season. they were undefeated in the regular season games which took them to the playoffs.

The boys on the team were so cute, they all wore their pink Nike Elite socks in support of breast cancer.

 

 Carter was the starting quarter back this season. He loved it and the entire team did well and looked great.

I am thinking this may have been a little Tim TeBow moment out on the field. He really wanted to win this game. They lost 13-12 in the very end. They played well but could not get that very last touchdown to win the game.

As we wrap up our fall sports and look to our upcoming winter events, here's how our teams ended out their seasons!

 

The Bears’ 7th grade team achieve a first for Silverado by completing the regular season undefeated!! Key players were quarterback Carter Krupp (who also led the team in touchdowns scored), Christian Reinig and Josh Gaeckle on offense; Ryan Marmorstein, Ryan Heldt and Parker Whitney on defense. Unfortunately the 7th graders lost a heartbreaker 13-12 in the league semi-finals to fall just short of their ulti-mate goal.

After School Sports - Tanner

Tanner and Carter are loving their after school sports. They couldn't help themselves. They had to add a little more craziness to their extra curricular activities. I think, they think that my calendar was looking a little dull.
Tanner has been playing Flag Football. He loves it. He was the quarter back and a middle line backer. His coaches refer to him as the 4th coach. While the  Bears  may not have had a winning season(lots of new players-1st timers), Tanner gave his heart and soul to the game and that is all that matters.

So very proud of this boy. If you were to ask him about Cross Country, he would immediately tell you that he is isn't a long distance runner. He is a sprinter. He wanted to be involved in middle school sports this year. The only sports offered to the 6th graders are Cross Country, Track and Field and Wrestling(which he is not a fan of). He was immediately moved up to Group Two which consists of 7th grade boys and a select few, 6th graders. He participated in his first meet last week. I was so proud watching him pass by on the track. He did great!!







It was fun to cheer him on as he crossed over the finish line. I loved hearing the little boys cheer him on. They were so proud of their big brother. They informed me that they are making signs for next time and that Tanner's name will be on them :-). I asked Tanner what he was most proud of during the race and he replied "not throwing up at the finish line". He watched one of the older boys loose it right before he was to race. He pushed through and made it, without the throw up. That a boy!
