DONE!

One more thing to check off my list! I completed 12 mini soccer albums for Carter & his team mates. John coached Carter's team this season. We wanted to do something fun & personalized for each boy. Another Mom on the team took about 200 photos @ each game & would upload them to Costco. Each parent was asked to give me 10-15 photos of their son. From there I was able to create a book for each boy. It was fun to watch the boys flip thru their books. We had a fun team party @ the local pizza joint tonight. The boys received their trophies, mini albums, had pizza, cake, cookies, & they played video games. Stephanie (our team Mom) did a great job planning all of the details. Thanks Steph! You hard work was so appreciated this season! Thank you to the whole team for the gift card to Strikes & the great team Plaque for John! It has been an awesome team & an awesome season.

Undefeated

Another Soccer Saturday! Tanner & Carter's teams are still undefeated. Tanner has had an amazing season. He scored three goals today in the first half. We love to watch this boy play soccer. He is fast. He plays hard. He loves the game. He enjoys playing with his friends. He played forward for the first half & was goalie the 2nd half. Our team has played so well this season. Way to go Swords.

Carter had a great game too! They won! Carter scored two goals-woot woot.

Both boys had Grandpa Hans down at the net with them today. He was giving them pointers. They loved it. They both have one game left & our fingers are crossed that the teams will remain undefeated. Good luck boys!

This ones for the GIRLS

I had many titles for this post running thru my mind. I am settling on this one! Min hosted a fun farewell brunch/visit to see Lorelie off. They will be moving in a few short days. Min is the hostess with the mostess. We all know that there will be a feast waiting for us. She made her YUMMY egg rolls, lettuce wraps etc... thanks Min. We all know not to eat before we come. It was a fun morning just visiting & enjoying one another. It makes me sad to see their family moving. But at the same time I am so HAPPY for them. It sure will be nice for all of them to be in the SAME state, at the same time again. They are such a sweet family who will be missed terribly. We wish you all of the bet Lor & are looking forward to family updates.

Peas & we have a WINNER!

We tried peas yesterday! Brody did really well. There were a few funny faces that made us all laugh. He also enjoyed his first swing ride today. He loved swinging back & forth in the baby swing in the backyard. Thanks Lisa :) He stayed in the swing for about 30 minutes.

We have a winner! And the winner is....Lisa P.. She guessed the # of steps & that is the right answer. John brought home a pedometer from work & I thought I would try it out on Friday. By 2 pm, I had taken 2, 323 steps. I would have clocked more except that the pedometer fell off without me knowing while making the bed & I stepped on it. OOPS. Way to go Lisa! I will get your prize to you! Thanks for playing!

On the Move!

This is what I witnessed while changing the sheets on our bed last Friday! He had backed himself up against the wall. Being the smart baby that he is, he decided to go forward. He got up on all fours & rocked. He is still trying to figure out the hand thing. He is on the move & I don't think I am ready!
