Gratitude on Sunday

Today I am very grateful for a grateful family. As we were sitting around the dinner table tonight, John asked everyone to share at least one thing that they were grateful for. Each family member listed several things that they were grateful for. We are all grateful for each other, our home, wonderful school teachers, friends, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the food on our table, family, our health, jobs, talents and to opportunity to be happy. There really is so much to be thankful for...each and every day. What are you grateful for today?

Darling picture Raimi! Today I am grateful for Stake Conference and that it started at 10 a.m. and not our usual 8:30 a.m. start time. I'm truly grateful for the little family that Mike and I have created. I have many moments during my day where I just stop and think to myself that I can't believe I have ALL that I do. I'm amazed every single day.

We don't do the thankful thing around the table, but every year we have the Thankful Door - we wrap a door in butcher paper, write a scripture about being thankful on it, and leave markers nearby and anyone and everyone who comes through the house writes things they are grateful for on it. It is really fun when it fills up. Jon's mom started the tradition years and years ago.
